Could you use a box mag? Be considered a SAW?

The Tanks are driven by designated drivers (myself or other BlastCamp refs). Basically if your team controls the tank anyone from your team can ride in the tank- my tank holds about 3 people, the Blast Camp tanks holds a couple more people (although just like a real tank, the ride isn't exactly comfortable!). The tanks are bring your own guns, unless the secret weapon for my tank is here by the 20th. Then it will be available for use in the turret, just supply your own BBs. Tank rules vary by game as to how you control or lose control of the vehicles. It is still undecided on this one, we like to change it up.
Using a box mag will not make you a SAW. You may use a box mag, but the ammo limit of 1000 rounds loaded still applies (2500 rounds loaded for a true support weapon replica).
Cheers and let me know if you have any other questions or concerns! Can't wait for the 20th!

you dont preregister. and as long as your shooting glasses make a complete seal around your eye then you can use them. but if your talking about safety glass type you cant use those

it wont fly. your not shooting little white bb's at people when your shooting a real fire arm are you? i dont think so. if it doesnt have a full foam seal around your whole eye then theres a chance a bb can make it in and potential loose or damage an eye or both. so there for, insurance doesnt cover shooting glasses. which means blastcamp doesnt allow them on the field

Is there a feed tube or something and you have to pour bbs in a cup at the end or something? Do you have to load a magazine (boy that'd be annoying), or what would you need to bring with to load the bbs? Also, My friend who said he's been here before said there are mounted miniguns here. Is that rue? If so, where are they on the field and do you also need to supply your own bbs?

The only true "mounted gun" is on the Blast Camp tank, and it's duel tippman A5 paintball guns which are not allowed in airsoft....

To the eye protection question. All players must wear full sealed ansi-rated and astm apporved eyewear. If the goggle system does not meet this criteria then you will not be allowed on the field until proper goggles are obtained.
As always, all players under 18 are to wear a full face paintball mask that has not been modified in any way.

The tank will have an M2 .50 cal heavy machine gun. Not sure yet if it will arrive before the 4/20 game though. If it does, it has a box mag with a flip top lid to refill. You can dump hicaps or bags of bbs in there pretty easy. It holds around 8000 rounds. Yeah, almost 2 full bags of bbs. That is why it will be BYOBB. :-)
Shooting glasses are not OK unless they are full seal (completely seal around the eye). While shooting glasses are ANSI rated, they do not offer complete protection around the edges when people are shooting at you.
Cheers! ~D

Wow that sounds awesome. Could I get a link to the gun please? I gotta see this thing...
Oh yeah and really important: does the old woodland BDU qualify as up-to-date, or no?
